In 2007, Bob got signed to the U.S. label, Dim Mak and Rifo and Aoki have recently formed a hardcore punk band called Rifoki. Brodinski is the most exciting dj and producer to explode onto the scene in récent years. He may hail from France but he is quite unlike any of his Parisian peers. His taste in music is broad and this is reflected in his own productions and DJ sets which may encompass noisy techno, bass heavy house through to more melodic minimal. The hot fuss started with his debut track Bad Runner which leaked onto blog sites months before it’s release on Mental Groove, supported by everyone from Soulwax, Tiga, Chloe, Erol Alkan, A Trak & Busy P. When it was eventually released, the subject ‘Bad Runner’ had garnered over 3500 views on Erol Alkan’s forum, and people couldn’t wait to get their hands on it. Since Bad Runner, Brodinski has remixed Bonde de Role, Klaxons, Das Pop, Shoes, D.I.M, Heart Revolutions and Adam Sky with each remix having a different approach ranging from the acidic (D.I.M), to vocal techno (Das Pop) to melancholic end-of-nighters (Klaxons). He also has been championed by Radio Soulwax, Tiga’s Turbo and Bugged Out who have offered him multiple gigs and festival slots.

Drawing from influences of house, hip hop and beyond, Crookers blend their beats with the kind of fidget house finesse that gives Potty Mouth Music its soiled swagger. Since 2003, DJs Phra and Bot have been drawing upon their collective musical backgrounds to create tracks that twist, startle and surprise with synthetic pop.

Crookers will out-sleaze the Zouk dance floor with a catalogue of original tracks! It’s their work as remixers that have made them one of the most sought after batteries in the business. Currently, the duo is reworking tracks for the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Armand Van Helden, Bonde do Role, Brodinski & Bumblebeez.

When Crookers are not crafting their dirty (crooked) beats in the studio, they are busy holding down their residency with MTV (Italy). Describing their influences as mainly House and hip hop, Crookers say they "try to put all the things they like in their productions and they listen to a lot of music from very different periods and genres.”

To launch the new night Readyset Glo – The Motored Sessions of indie-disco parties at Velvet Underground is none other than New York quartet, The Rapture!

Their raucous breakthrough single, House Of Jealous Lovers, off their Echoes album, united techno and indie kids in one sweaty dancefloor mess, setting the pace for indie/dance crossovers worldwide. "With so many hip people in the studio, it's no wonder Echoes sounds like such a party," said Blender magazine.

Following up in 2006 with the album ‘Pieces Of The People We Love’, The Rapture cemented their reputation as the trend-setting new breed of punk-funk, dipping into their love of house music to emerge with a riot of live pop-funk and psychedelic party-forward sounds.
