Their raucous breakthrough single, House Of Jealous Lovers, off their Echoes album, united techno and indie kids in one sweaty dancefloor mess, setting the pace for indie/dance crossovers worldwide. "With so many hip people in the studio, it's no wonder Echoes sounds like such a party," said Blender magazine. Following up in 2006 with the album ‘Pieces Of The People We Love’, The Rapture cemented their reputation as the trend-setting new breed of punk-funk, dipping into their love of house music to emerge with a riot of live pop-funk and psychedelic party-forward sounds.
